Every variable that is assigned a value using <set> or <set-state> appears within this pane. The trace is shown in strict temporal order, so it is possible to determine the sequence of variable assignments. 

The columns are: a counter which shows the sequence of the variable assignment (the counter starts at 1 when the debugger is started, and counts upward), the path, name and assigned value of the variable. 

By right-clicking in this pane, the user can turn on and off the Autoscroll feature. When Autoscroll is on, the pane automatically shows new entries. When Autoscroll is off, the user can choose to view any part of the pane.
